Maud Doyle

I took over as the temporary managing editor of a struggling paper, The Millerton News, in November 2023. Over the course of six months, I broadened the scope of inquiry, particularly with regard to agriculture and food access; brought on and trained several new reporters, all of whom were new to journalism; dramatically improved the quality of writing and reporting, and restored context and depth to the stories themselves.
